Retropan is an after market film replacement kit for panoramic x-ray devices. The Retropan kit replaces the standard film cassette and uses the same x-ray source. Retropan equipped Panorex units capture direct digital x-ray images and therefore offer the same features and benefits as new digital pans. The kit includes an image capture device, a digital image processor, a high speed data link and imaging software.
Retropan is TWAIN compliant and uses a USB interface and integrates into any practice management application that allows image capture.
Our installers are well versed in this type of integration, which is done at the time of installation.
