This camera is ideally suited to an office environment where the desired images are saved through video capture cards in computer workstations. It also works particularly well with standard video TV installations. The unit operates via internal rechargeable batteries that can be recharged via an included AC transformer or via USB connection. The concept of Patient Use of intraoral cameras is not new and has been implemented in many practices. As early as the March 2001 CRA newsletter, the use of PatientCam was envisioned by Video Dental Concepts, Inc. as a logical part of the patient education process. Our latest model RCA camera is an upgrade from our previous MiniCam which we sold from 2000-2004.
