Research Your Goals
Take some time out of your pre-show preparation to research your core goals before setting up. What do you want to to get out of this experience? What brings you here? Create a list for reference and revert back to that whenever you have a spare minute.

One of the most obvious tips for navigating a trade show successfully is also one of the ones most businesses seem to have a problem remembering. Following your conference, send out emails, make calls, and check in with the clients, suppliers, and other businesses you met while you were there.
It goes without saying, but potential clients have been won and lost over a simple follow up email, and this is a great way to get that relationship off to a good start. Send your emails, attach your notes, call, text, and connect with the people you met. They’ll be happy you called.
Assess Your Achievements
Once everything is said and done, check back in with the goals you took in with you initially. Did you accomplish what you set out to do? What would you change? If you can be honest with yourself about what you excelled at and where you dragged, this can be your launchpad for a much better experience, next time.
